Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
Video content on our website does not include audio description. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.2.5 (audio description (prerecorded)). To request this content in an alternate format, please contact UNIP@nottingham.ac.uk. We plan to fix non-compliance by 1 May 2024.
Google Maps are used for location maps on our Get in Touch page. We are aware that some aspects of Google Maps are not accessible using a keyboard. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 2.1.1 (keyboard). Where maps are used on our website, we also list address details on the page. If you would like us to provide directions in an alternate format, please contact us.
Content that’s not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
Some PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 on our website that aren’t essential to providing our services aren’t fully accessible. The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services.
